For blowing and laying Currently available 36 km of Nexans B-LITE cable with 5.4 mm diameter and 79 km of Sterlite STL cable with 5.7 mm diameter. The multi tube cables have 12 G652D fibers. Both cables are designed to be installed by blowing in 8 mm inner diameter micro-ducts. Due to the excellent friction properties the cables offers high blowing distances and are used in Access, Backbone and PON networks.
